The Plough Solihull

This is a Beefeater pub and linked to the Premier inn for breakfasts and evening meals.

The carpark is shared with the premier inn and is quite large with plenty of disabled spaces. From the parking associated with the hotel directions where unclear as to how to enter the building as the back double doors only had a sign saying it was the breakfast entrance and lead into the back of the restaurant. The only other way was to go all the way through the carpark round to the front of the building.

There was a decked smoking area that also had a ramp allowing wheelchair access which I thought was good and am not a smoker.

Inside the tables are spread out enough with enough room for a wheelchair to get around and the male and female toilets were easy to find but no signs indicating where the disabled toilet was. It was the second day I had to ask the staff where the disabled toilet was and was told that it was around in the bar area of the pub.

The tables were easy enough to get a wheelchair under and the staff were very polite and helpful and made eye contact when talking. Did not see any adult changing facilities either.

Food was fantastic and the choice available was a lot better than when the premier inn has an onsite restaurant.

Breakfast had the usual buffet-style continental breakfast with a large choice which was easy enough the access and the hot food such as the full English was cooked to order and brought to the table.

Overall a pleasant experience.
