CEA CARD FOR THE CINEMA

The CEA Card is a national card scheme developed for UK cinemas by the UK Cinema Association (UKCA), formerly the Cinema Exhibitors' Association (CEA). The scheme was introduced in 2004 and is one of the ways for participating cinemas to ensure they make reasonable adjustments for disabled guests when they go to the cinema; in particular, it ensures a complimentary ticket for someone to go with them.

PINPOINT FOBES FOR THE PETROL STATION ASDA- The good news is they are FREE. All you need to do is go to one of the kiosks at the petrol station where you pay for the petrol and ask for one of the disabled Fobes and they will give you one FREE OF CHARGE. The even better news is that ANYONE who needs assistance can have one. So not just someone in a wheelchair but if you have arthritis, MS, Fibro anything that will cause you a problem getting in and out of the car, bending, opening the petrol cap or using the pump, etc. Take along either a letter from the DLA/PIP or your blue badge just for proof.
